What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is a very popular non-surgical cosmetic procedure for rejuvenation of the face, neck and décolleté. Mesotherapy makes elastin fibres stronger, stimulates collagen production and fights free radicals. After several sessions you will notice significant changes in skin tone, texture and elasticity as well as a tightening and lifting effect. Several sessions are required to get successful results.
Many of our patients prefer Mesolift - a skin rejuvenation technique (combination of Mesotherapy and Superficial Peels). Mesolift is the best method to get the tighter-looking skin you desire. Best long lasting results can be achieved by 8 sessions twice a year.
Mesotherapy is very effective for the treatment of alopecia (hair loss).
Usually 4-8 sessions are required for long lasting results.
Prior to treatment, consultation is required. You will discuss with a doctor the details of the procedure and the results you want to achieve. You will have your before and after photos taken (for medical records only).
Before each procedure treated areas are cleaned and numbing cream is applied. A procedure consists of multiple tiny injections of small quantities of medications which are selected for the specific condition being treated. In our clinic we use "MESOGUN" to ensure exact and brief injections at the correct depth. The injections are nearly painless and take 10-20 minutes depending on the skin area.
During and after procedure, you may experience a light burning sensation for 15-20 minutes.
A moderate swelling or bruising can last 1-7 days depending on your body's response.
We advise you to keep the treated areas clean and protected from direct sun exposure and follow after procedure instructions. A special home care regimen is recommended to maintain results.
In our clinic mesotherapy procedures are performed by a licensed Medical Physician with specific training in the Medical Aesthetics field and a wide range of experience in Europe and North America. Mesotherapy procedures are not delegated to a nurse or a physician assistant.
Please, feel free to discuss all the benefits and side effects of the procedure according to your medical condition during your individual consultation with a doctor. The cost of the procedure can vary depending on the areas to be treated from $200 to $250 CAD per session.
